In Rise of Kingdoms, Tariq ibn Ziyad is a new legendary Infantry commander who is a part of the Arabia civilization. He has the Infantry, Conquering, and Defense talent tree.
Should you invest in Tariq ibn Ziyad?
Tariq ibn Ziyad is a great infantry commander, but he is not for all players. The problem with Tariq ibn Ziyad is that he is focused too much on rallying. That is why you should not invest in him if you are a free-to-play player or if you do not plan to lead rallies in KVK and AOO. Other infantry commanders are far superior to Tariq ibn Ziyad and contribute significantly more to overall fighting and war in Rise of Kingdoms.
So if you are free to play, do not invest in him, but if you are a pay-to-win player or planning to lead rallies, then you should get him. He is a great commander, and on top of that, a lot of players have a lot of infantry troops that they can use in rallies.

Tariq ibn Ziyad Pairings
The best pairing for Tariq ibn Ziyad is Legendary Scipio Africanus. They together have great synergy and they can output an insane amount of damage. For this pairing, you will use Tariq ibn Ziyad as the secondary so you do not have to level him to 60 because you will use Legendary Scipio Africanus talent tree build.
If you do not have Scipio Africanus then it is best to use other strong infantry commanders like Sargon, Alexander, Leonidas, etc.
