In Rise of Kingdoms, Heraclius is a new legendary Garrison commander. He has the Leadership, Garrison, and Defense talent tree.

Should you invest in Heraclius?

In Rise of Kingdoms, Heraclius is a powerful legendary garrison commander who specializes in city defense. You are able to use him in field combat, but that is not that great when you take into consideration that there are better heroes in the game. A lot of players are wondering if they should invest and obtain Heraclius, and the simple answer is no, especially if you are a free-to-play player.

Heraclius is the commander for city defiance, but if you are careful, your city will never be attacked. It is always better to use a peace shield or teleport instead of holding rallies and trying to defend your city. Getting legendary sculptures is pretty hard for a free-to-play player, and you will only waste them on Heraclius.

It is better to save your sculptures for commanders that will be implemented in the future or invest in some of the best commanders that are currently available in Rise of Kingdoms.

When to use Heraclius?

You will use Heraclius if you want to have fun and allow enemy players to rally or swarm your city. If you are a player who would love to do it, then definitely get him. If you are a free-to-play player, it is simply not worth getting Heraclius.
