In Rise of Kingdoms, Huo Qubing is an Legendary Cavalry commander. He has the Cavalry, Versatility, and Skill talent tree.
Should you invest in Huo Qubing?
Huo Qubing is an extremely powerful commander who will deal an insane amount of damage. It does not matter if you are free to play or pay to win, you should max out Huo Qubing, especially if you are more focused on cavalry units.
If you are a free-to-play player, we recommend that you max out Huo Qubing. We all know that the majority of free-to-play players do not rally buildings and objectives, and that is why Huo Qubing is a great investment. He is designed for field fighting, but you can also use him for rallying.
What you should keep in mind is that to get benefits from Huo Qubing’s first skills, you have to use him as a primary. Be careful when you are using him on an open field, you will get focused a lot by enemy players.

Huo Qubing Pairings
Joan Of Arc Prime
Joan of Arc is a great commander that you can pair with Huo Qubing. They are both field cavalry commanders, so they have great synergy. On top of that, Joan will boost damage and bring some rage regeneration, so Huo Qubing will be able to use the first skill more frequently, which means more DPS.
William
William I is another commander who will have great synergy with Huo Qubing. What is great about this pairing is that William will deal AOE damage, bring more defense so you can survive more, and give rage regeneration so you can deal even more damage.
Other
If you do not have any commanders from above, we recommend that you pair Huo Qubing with any cavalry commander that has AOE damage and defense bonuses, like Honda Tadakatsu and Mehmed.
