In Rise of Kingdoms, William Wallace is an Legendary Infantry commander. He has the Infantry, Versatility, and Smite talent tree.
Should you invest in William Wallace?
William Wallace is currently one of the strongest commanders in the game. This means that it does not matter if you are free to play, pay to win, or even if you are not focused on cavalry, you should get William Wallace. Simply check out his skills, and you will notice how much damage he will deal.
He is for open field, but he is also great for rallying, so you are getting double value. If you are a player who is focused on infantry, then you especially should get him. Overall, William Wallace is overpowered, so we will definitely see high-end players using him in AOO and KVK.

William Wallace Pairings
Liu Che
If you get William Wallace, then you should definitely pair him with Liu Che. Liu Liu Che is the best infantry commander in the game and simply dominates. If you are going to use this pairing, then you have to use Liu Che as a secondary so he can benefit from the William Wallace smite tree.
Scipio Aemilianus
If you are going for more rally pairings, then Scipio Aemilianus and William Wallace are pairings that you should use. This pairing is insanely good and will dominate. For an open field, it will work, but it is best to use it for rallying.
