Rise of Kingdoms Halloween Event contains 3 smaller events that you can do to earn rewards, and they are:
- Night Of celebration
- Halloween party
- Ghoulish Graveyard
Night Of Celebration
Night of Celebration is an event where your whole alliance will work together to open 10 chests that contain good rewards. Each player can open 10 chests, and it is relatively easy, even if your alliance is active and donates pumpkins.
There is a leaderboard inside the alliance where you can see which player donated the most pumpkins, and you can get small if you are in the top 20.
To get the pumpkins that are needed to open chests and to redeem rewards, you have to do the following the following tasks:
A Halloween party is a small event whereby, by completing tasks, you will earn pumpkins. If you finish all tasks in 7 days, you will get 100 epic sculptures and 100 5-minute speedups.
City Collection: Every time you collect resources from the production buildings, you have a chance to get a pumpkin, so if you want to get more pumpkins from city production, it is best to collect resources every 2 hours. If you let production reach its maximum, you will not receive too many pumpkins.
From Barbarians: Every time you destroy barbarians, you have a chance to receive pumpkins. It is not worth spending action points on them. Save your action points for the new KVK.
Gathering is the best way to obtain pumpkins. All you have to do is farm, but you must send a 130k troop load to the resource point. Every time your troops come back from gathering, you have a chance to receive a box that contains a pumpkin. Farm only food and wood because they are easiest to gather.
Bundle: You can purchase a bundle, but only if you need some extra pumpkins for getting city skins or legendary commander sculptures.
Ghoulish Graveyard
This is also one of the places where you can get pumpkins and other rewards.
You will have to scout five haunted graves, and each grave will have a task that you can do. You have to complete five tasks, and you will be able to summon a witch that you can solo kill or your alliance can rally.
People are saying that it is free to play, but I can tell you that it is not. The tasks that you have to do are insane. You have to destroy 20–50 barbarians, increase search and building power by a small amount (but players who are 25 city hall will have to spend a lot of speedups to finish this), and train troops. If you train troops, you are wasting the speedups that you can use in Mightiest Governor and other events.
Overall, tasks are easy but too expensive. This is great if you have a big alliance that will be willing to rally each witch.
Hallows Eve
Now, this is what you are looking for, but you will be disappointed if you are not a spender.
City Skin is great for infantry, but it costs too much, so if you are free to play, avoid it. It will cost you 200 pumpkins that you can get with farming and 100 Halloween candy that is impossible to get if you do not spend 10k gems or buy bundles. In my opinion, it is better to spend on legendary commanders’ sculptures.
Legendary commander sculptures cost 25 pumpkins and 10 candies. And you can get 30 of them. Now, in my opinion, you can get this if you have extra gems, but it is better to save your gems on more than gems, where you can get better rewards.
